The tube-dwelling anemone crown (Pachycerianthus fimbriatus) looks very attractive, and the tentacles can reach a diameter of about 12 inches (30cm).  This anemone prefers to live on sandy or muddy sea floors.  The tube-dwelling anemone has its body protected by a parchment-like casing or home that it makes for itself.  This anemone has a range that extends from southern Alaska to northern Mexico.
