Project Description

A San Diego dorid (Diaulula sandiegensis) has a few ringed spots near the center of the dorsal surface that do not extend down to the margin unlike the similar looking spotted leopard dorid (Diaulula odonoghuei).  The San Diego dorid can be white to a light yellow-orange and may grow to 5 inches (12.5 cm) long, with a range from northern Mexico to southern British Columbia.
