Project Description

Niagara Falls is made up of three sets of falls:  the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.  The Horseshoe Falls are shown in this photo with the “Maid of the Mist” tourist boat below.  The average flow rate of water over these huge falls is 85,000 cubic feet/second, and they are visited by 12 million tourists a year.
