Light bulb tunicates (Clavelina huntsmani) live in groups with each individual having a transparent tunic, and internal organs that appear to glow under the beam of a dive light, like the pink filament of an old fashioned light bulb.  The colony may reach a diameter up to around 20 inches (51 cm), with individual tunicates reaching a height of 2 inches (5 cm).  Light Bulb tunicates have a range from southern British Columbia to northern Mexico.
