Project Description

The diamondback nudibranch (Tritonia festiva) often has crisp white line markings on its back over a pale white or pinkish body colour.  This nudibranch can be seen cruising along the sandy ocean floor looking for sea pens to feed on.  It also is a predator of soft corals.  The diamondback nudibranch can grow to 4 inches (10 cm) long, with a range from southern Alaska to northern Mexico and also Japan and Korea.
