Project Description

During a dive at the Victoria breakwater I encountered an aggregating sea cucumber (Pseudocnus lubricus) that was in a great spot for a photograph.  These sea cucumbers are observed gathered in small clusters, but this individual was positioned slightly away from the others of its species.  Aggregating sea cucumbers are very small and grow to only 1.6 inches (4 cm) in length, with a range from southern Alaska to central California.
