Project Description
The tube-dwelling anemone (Pachycerianthus fimbriatus) has an attractive crown of tentacles that can reach a diameter of about 12 inches (30cm). This anemone prefers to live on sandy or muddy sea floors. The tube-dwelling anemone has its body protected by a parchment-like casing or home that it makes for itself. This anemone has a range that extends from southern Alaska to northern Mexico.
